All cases scheduled for in-person
hearings will be reset for remote appearances. The scheduled remote appearances
are not optional and failing to appear will have the same consequences as not
appearing at an in-person proceeding.
The court will send more information
regarding scheduled remote appearances. You must be on the docket schedule for
the judge to see you. Please contact the court to verify your status.
All virtual hearings will be live streamed on YouTube and are subject to the
same standards of conduct and attire as would apply to an in-person appearance
before the court.
to Appear via Zoom
- A device capable of accessing an internet connection
(PC, MAC, Smart Phone, Tablet, etc.).
- A fast and stable internet connection.
- A webcam attached to your PC or a built-in camera on
your device that will allow the Judge to see you during the video
- A microphone connected or built-in mic that will allow
you to talk to the Judge and your device must also have speakers attached
or built-in that will allow you to hear what the judge is saying to you.
- A working email address; you may need to email images
or documents for the Judge’s review.
- You will be required to provide the Court with a
working email address and mobile phone number to ensure future successful
contact with the Court.
To participate in a virtual hearing you will
need a smartphone or computer with a webcam and microphone enabled. You
will need to download the Zoom platform before the scheduled hearing. To
test your device, go to Zoom Meeting Testing
. The Court will not be able to assist you in this regard.
When joining the virtual hearing, please use your full legal name as your
screen name. When you have successfully joined the virtual hearing, you
may be placed into a virtual waiting room. You will then be brought to a
RECORDING OF THE VIRTUAL
HEARINGS IS NOT PERMITTED
You may find it more convenient to accomplish certain tasks by regular mail.
For example, applications for deferred disposition, driving safety
courses and certain compliance dismissals may be submitted by mail.
